Concept Master Plan of WAV city
The total area of the city is 93.4 hectares.
The concept is based on the idea of a modern, comfortable and ecological city.
At the initial stage of work on the concept, a legal analysis of the site was conducted, historical and landscape features were identified. The design area is surrounded on all sides by rivers and lakes, and bridges are needed to build entrances. The site itself has quite spectacular views due to the existing greenery and lakes.
An analysis of the world experience of urban design and its individual elements was conducted. The main direction was to determine compliance with the Wellness Wheel, which ensures the comfortable existence of society and man in it. It was proposed to use the Active House concept in the design and construction of buildings, the use of extensive roofs and wooden structures.
At the stage of creating the zoning of the site, residential, public areas, a golf club area and a business complex area were identified. As only two entrances can be arranged on the site, they are connected by the main alley of the city, along which the highest residential building with active ground floors with infrastructure elements (pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, hairdressers, etc.) are located.
There are 2 schools, 5 kindergartens, a golf club, a sports complex, a spa hotel, and a shopping mall in the city.
In order to create places of rest and recreation the design is actively involved waterfront, which is arranged a marina for yachts, multifunctional space for various events, and a water theater. For comfortable walks in the park-forest areas there are bicycle and pedestrian paths, recreation areas and forest pavilions.
The office complex consists of three 16-storey towers made entirely of wooden structures.
The residential area consists of several complexes that have their own architectural and landscape features: "Scarlett Forest", "Sakura Garden", "Lavender Field", "Housing on the water".
